# Linux ytalk Command

The Linux ytalk command is used to chat with other users.
With the ytalk command, you can chat online with other users. If you want to chat with a user on another host, simply add their host name or IP address after the username.
### Syntax
ytalk [username...]
**Parameter Description**:
* -h Specifies the remote host where the chat partner is located.
* -i Use an alert sound instead of displaying a message.
* -s Open the ytalk chat window before the command prompt.
* -x Disable the graphical interface.
* -Y For all questions that require a yes or no answer, you must reply with the uppercase English letters "Y" or "N".
