The Linux setup command is a setup utility. It is a command that launches a graphical setup system.
setup command: Used to configure X, printing settings, timezone settings, system services, network configuration, configuration, firewall configuration, authentication configuration, mouse configuration.
Syntax
setup
setup is a setup utility that provides a graphical interface. Seven types of options can be configured in setup:
- 1. Login authentication method
- 2. Keyboard configuration settings
- 3. Mouse configuration settings
- 4. System services to start at boot
- 5. Sound card configuration settings
- 6. Timezone settings
- 7. X Windows configuration settings
