# Linux apmd command [![Image 3: Linux Command Manual](#) Linux Command Manual](#) The Linux apmd command is used for advanced power management service program. apmd is responsible for recording, warning, and management related to BIOS Advanced Power Management (APM). ### Syntax apmd **Parameters**: * -p or --percentage When the power change exceeds the set percentage change, i.e., the default value for recording percentage change events is 5. If the set value exceeds 100, this function is disabled. * -u or --utc Set the BIOS clock to UTC, so that when resuming from suspend mode, the -u parameter is passed to the clock or hwclock program. * -v or --verbose Record all APM events. * -V or --version Display version information. * -w or --warn When the battery is not charging and the battery level is below the set percentage value, record a warning at the ALERT level in syslog(2).
