The select in Ionic is more aesthetically pleasing than the native one. However, the style of the pop-up selectable options is the browser's default.
The style of selectable options varies across platforms. On a PC browser, you will see a traditional dropdown interface. On Android, a radio button option will pop up. On iOS, there is a scroll wheel interface.
